Mushroom pate starter was puree’d and runny. The toast with it was very thin,holy and burnt.
We ordered venison. We weren’t asked how we wanted it cooked. The meat came cooked on the outside but quite rare in the middle. Not at all to our liking but once we’d poured the accompanying sauce on it decided not to send it back to the kitchen. My wife’s chips were mere scraps.
Overall very disappointed.

Food was OK, I had the steak burger, my friend had an 8oz, 40 minutes wait when three tables are on-going is harsh. The lads who worked in the kitchen .ade my female friend feel un easy, they swagger like they own the shop. The lady was nice, but she seemed troubled.
The lad who served drinks was probably the only nice person there.

Had an amazing meal here this evening. 2x 12oz rump was cooked beautifuly. Chips tasted amazing and the puddings were lovely. Thank you for amazing food and a lovely evening.

Fantastic meal, great to talk to the manager, couldn't have asked for a better meal in lovely surroundings on the night we stayed.
Second visit from us and I can say the standards have not dropped, great value, perfectly cooked, glad we came back

A Gem off the High Street and very friendly staff.
We had Shetland Isles mussels as starter, chicken chorizo risotto and 12oz steak as main course.
The mussels were so big, juicy and tasty. It’i highly recommended!! The steak was cooked to requirement aund very tasty.
Chicken chorizo risotto might be a bit blend in comparison to the steak and mussels.
We also recommend the desserts!!

Stumbled across this place by sheer luck, hands down the best food in Fort William. If you’re looking for freshly made incredible tasting food this is the place to go. Honestly the chef is a genius the attention to the quality and wow the taste was exceptional. Reasonably priced but my goodness it’s worth every penny I’d eat here every night if I could, 100% will be coming back. Thanks for making it so incredible

I don’t know why this place has so many good reviews. Food took over an hour. Only got a burger and a fajita. There’s no beer on tap let alone real ale that you can find at most restaurants on the main street. Burger fell apart immediately. Not worth the wait. I recommend going elsewhere.

Talk about accommodating - they seated us the last few minutes before close of service and let us stay till closing. They let us order anything we wanted, too! Good food, good drinks, and good service~

Dat zou zo maar eens de lekkerste black pudding kunnen zijn die ik gegeten heb. Het duurde lang voor het eten kwam, maar dat het wachten bleek het waard te zijn. (Bedankt Gogs voor de tip)

Great service, food was absolutely fantastic. Took about 45min to a hour to get our food but definitely worth it. Everything was fresh and my chicken was super juicy. Highly recommend.

Piatto tipico di cozze spaziale, con la crema migliore che abbia mai mangiato assieme a dei molluschi. Carne buonissima e cotta alla perfezione.
Pudding al toffee e crema al burro divino, su tutt'altro livello rispetto a quello mangiato in altri posti.
Potessimo tornarci lo faremmo volentieri.

We were refused service unless everyone at the table would order main dish. We came with a few people and some of us wanted to eat while others would just get drinks. People who wouldn’t eat would have to leave for the rest to be able to eat. I visited a fair amount of restaurants and never have I seen such bizarre rules.

We visited The Stables today whilst on holiday in Fort William. The service was fantastic, and the food was freshly cooked. The sirloin steaks were tasty, the ribs were massive and the fajitas were delicious. Looks like it is an independent family owned business which is always nice to see. Would highly recommend.

Food was ok, wasn’t impressed. I asked for a medium steak but it was almost well done. Took about 40 min to get the food for 2. There’s a parking lot just next to it.

Llegamos 2 personas a las 20:15 y, pese a que cerraban a las 21:00, ya no nos dejaron entrar a cenar. Lo más gracioso es que fuera nos encontramos a un grupo de 3 personas a los que les habían dicho que podrían entrar a comer a las 20:30. Encima eché un vistazo rápido al interior del local y no estaba ni al 50%. Creo que no les costaba nada habernos aceptado a 2 más...
